F1 學生簽証 + OPT : 工作篇

持 F-1 Visa 的學生可以馬上在校園裡工作，但在校外工作 ( 除非是與學校有聯盟關係的教育機構 ) 的話則必須要等一學年後. 且因持學生簽証主要是來美國念書而不是工作，所以即使要在校外工作通常還要符合一些要件: 

1)      無預期的、不可抗拒的嚴重經濟因難. 除了一些特別例外，前題是你還是必需保持你的學生身份，繼續念書以維持規定的時數，並且在學校開學期間每星期工作不超過20 小時.

F1 學生簽証

F-1 學生簽証是屬於非移民簽証類，意即你並沒有意圖放棄你原生的所在地，所以這樣的 Visa 是暫時性的 (意即你沒有要永久居住在美國)，其目的是讓你來美國追求學業，且必需是移民局已認可的學術機構，並且有遵循 SEVIS 規定. 

但持 F1 簽証不能來美就讀公立的中小學，或參加公立中學就讀不超過一年且自付全額學費. 違反此規定者將不得入境美國 5 年. 但此規定不適用於 J1, F2, L2 or H4.

A Hot TV Show : Jon & Kate plus 8

In the US , there is a popular show called Jon & Kate plus 8. It is a reality television show that follows Jon & Kate plus their 8 kids. They had twins and then sextuplets which is six kids at once.

Jon is part Korean so their kids look asian. Now their marriage has deteriorated to the point where they may divorce – and people including me, can’t stop watching.

Jon and Kate have made millions from the TV show but are they exploiting the kids?

Divorce will be terrible since neither parent alone can take care of 8 kids by themselves so they may split the kids. If you haven’t seen the show, you should watch Monday as there is some big announcement.

大學生的最愛: Exchange Visitor ( J1 簽証)

J-1 簽証是屬非移民傾向的簽証，也就是你並沒有要遺棄你的家園來美，並且，J1 visa是希望你以此簽証來美後所學到的技術或經驗是可以讓你回國後可以好好地加以利用發揮.  

J Visa 裡一共有十二項類別，其中有兩項是特別提供給還在就學的大學生或剛從大學畢業沒多久的社會新鮮人. 這兩項分別是:  

1)      Trainee or Intern  

2)      Summer Student in a Travel/Work Program  

Internship 的要件是:
