想在美國投資或從事貿易往來的人，可考慮申請 E-1、E-2.
一般來說，投資移民的金額門檻是比以E Visa 申請要來的高，但雖然 E Visa 的門檻看似較投資移民低，E 簽証是屬於非移民的簽証類別.
E-1 是給從事國際貿易，特別是申請者國家的公司與美國的公司之間有實質大量的貿易往來. 至於E-2是給投資者的簽証，投資的部份雖不需完全是現金，來源也可以是借貸關係，但主要是投資的額度在比例上要有一定的足夠必要性.
申請E簽証，若是一家新公司，需另凖備未來五年的財務預測報表. 而持E簽証的配偶及未成年未婚小孩也可伴隨來美, 且配偶可以申請工作証，且此 E 簽証也可為公司的管理階層人士及重要員工申請來美.
E 簽証一般是為期一或兩年，但最多一次也可給五年，且到期時可無限延長.

回覆刪除想請教有關於E1 Visa在台灣AIT被拒簽的情形.
我個人去年於公司的支持下在美國境內成功轉換身份為E1(Employee/Manager) 並於今年三月返台灣欲取得簽證, 返台時誤信不肖的簽證顧問, 只攜帶當初在美轉換身份時所使用的文件, 如今不幸無法取得簽證, Visa Officer並說明在無法有利說服的狀態下, 繼續申請也會被reject, 且給Notice上註明"You have not demonstrated that you are destined to an executive or supervisory position." 想請教律師, 此case是否仍可繼續嘗試, 謝謝您
