2012 年度的 H1B 額度於 Nov. 22, 2011 已經額滿截止!
USCIS unexpectedly announced the H-1B statutory cap of 65,000 for fiscal year (FY) 2012 has been reached.
Nov. 22, 2011 was the final receipt date for new H-1B specialty occupation petitions requesting an employment start date in FY 2012 (Oct 1, 2011-Sept 30, 2012). The statutory cap of 20,000 for the advance degree applicants was reached on October 19, 2011.
If you want to apply for a new H-1B, you will now need to wait until April 1, 2012.

回覆刪除在我的grace period 我可以繼續工作嗎? 因為我的OPT 到明天結束 如果我申請 grace period 還可以趕的上4月份的H1B申請 但我要到明天10月才能工作 公司如果願意等我到10月才能工作那是最好的結果 但是 如果 我不能工作 還要等到10月份才能工作 半年沒有任何的收入我不認為我能夠在美國生存:( 沒有任何一個方法解決我現在的問題嗎?
在我的grace period 和cap-gap extension 階段 我可以出境美國嗎?
我有個同事 因為名額已滿的原因 他說他參加lottery 而且他在名單內 你們也有這樣的服務嗎? 機會大嗎?

In general, you must maintain status to stay in the U.S. and you must have status in order to change status. If your OPT ends tomorrow, it appears you will not have status on April 1, 2012 because your grace period expires in February 2012!
